What is Word?

Word is a program created by Microsoft. It can usually be found on a Windows computer, and sometimes a Mac computer too. Word is a kind of word processor, which allows you to write and edit text. There are many different word processor programs available, but Word is one of the most commonly used.

Starting Word

To open Word, confirm it is installed on your computer. Press the Windows Key, then then Word into the search bar. Word should come up as a the first result, press enter to open. You can use alt + tab to move between this page and Word.
