Student Programs 2024
For 2023, Support Skills has comprised four face-to-face groups and one online group, with students participating either once or twice per term. We enjoyed an excursion to a children’s opera and a science incursion.
For 2024, we will welcome groups A, B, C, D and Online. Excursions or incursions are yet to be confirmed.

Dot Power 2024
The Dot Power program is for students in Prep to Year 3 who use braille as their primary learning medium. The program is open to parents of pre-schoolers, too. It is a great opportunity for teachers, family members and others to get involved and learn about braille and tactile graphics and teaching with braille.
In 2024, we will welcome one group of Dot Power students, families and school personnel on one day in Terms 2, 3 and 4. Eligible students’ families will receive invitations to the appropriate days for them. VTs will also be copied into these invitations and are very welcome to attend any Dot Power days.
In 2024 we intend to have Dot Power on the following days:
Term 2
May 14
Term 3
July 30
Term 4
Oct 29
NB Each year, it is our hope that the older Dot Power students will 'graduate' to the Support Skills Program, which runs on Fridays and is for students from Year 4 to 10. So, these older students, will not have a term 4 Dot Power day, but they can attend the Support Skills Try Day.
Please contact Marion Blaze for more information about Dot Power. marion.blaze@education.vic.gov.au
