Downloading Large Color Cursor Software
· Download Large Color Cursor software from the SVRC web site by right
clicking on the link at the bottom of the page and selecting "Save As".
A diaglogue box will appear, select "Save".
Installing Large Color Cursor Software
· After the software has been downloaded to your computer go to Bigcolor.exe
and click on it.(usually it will have been saved in the My Documents folder
unless you have selected a different folder when downloading)
· A dialogue box will appear asking if you want to install the program
to “C:\Windows\Cursor”
· Click “install” to start the process of installing the
cursors to your computer
Selecting the Large Cursor
After you have loaded the cursors to your computer you need to go and select
the cursor you want.
Select the following:
· Start
· Settings
· Control Panel
· Mouse
· Go to the Pointers tab and then select Browse (this takes you to the
section where the pointers are)
· Scroll through the cursors until you find the one you want, click on
it and then click “Open”
· Click “Apply”, then click “OK”
To Turn Pointer Trails on or off
Some people link to add pointer trails to their cursor to do this
Select the following:
· Start
· Settings
· Control Panel
· Mouse
· Pointer Options
· Under the heading Visibility is a checkbox for “Display Pointer
Trail” put a tick in the box by clicking on it to turn the trail on. To
take the trail off, click again so the tick is removed.
